Sometimes we get infatuated by our own ideas. Confirmation bias is to blame, in which we interpret new evidence as confirmation of our existing beliefs or theories.

To give flight to your ideas, humility is required to objectively assess the merits of our idea as it pertains to other people.

So, a prototype or minimum viable product is used to test our idea against reality.  Only then should be fall deeper (incrementally) more in love with our idea. After we've shown its of value to other people (potential customers).
