likeness, Commitment, and metrics

In his outstanding book "How Will You Measure Your Life?", Clayton Christensen challenges us to define our life's purpose in terms of likeness, commitment, and metrics.

"Likeness" is what our lives will have become at the end of the road. "Commitment" reflects fervor and dedication to the likeness. And "metrics" help to calibrate our work by measuring our progress against critical milestones along the journey.
