My Fellow Canadians,
I must admit that I am appalled and horrified at what's happening south of our border recently. Including "The Wall," among other things. Now is our chance as Canadians to step up as a global leader in the world. Yeah, we have a bully of the big brother, but so what? Time to flex our muscles and stand up to the bully in the schoolyard. People the world over respect Canadians and our "nice" disposition. And we have a lot to offer the world that is valuable. Our resources, sure, but our greatest asset is our people. We're innovative, tough, and smart. Carpe diem, Canada. I was in a meeting the other day. In evaluating the costs of the project, the client asked the following types of questions:
To expand on our previous post, a "likeness" is what you want your life or organization to become when you are at the end of the road. As a side note, life and an organization go hand-in-hand, we believe. That said, here's our commitment.
We promise to have truly made the world a better place. To have improved the lives of people in organizations, not just the owners. To have brought mindfulness and humility to our work. To have implemented the importance of documents written in Plain English, but to not have used them to cover our asses. And to have explored and implemented new technologies to make our work more meaningful.
